If you've been blonde, either in the past or are still blonde, I'm sure you've experienced the repercussions of bleaching your hair. we all have. Me included. I feel you, and trust me I know it's not fun. I also understand that it adds up and can become very spendy, especially if you love when your hair is as bright as possible.
There are so many things out there now telling you to buy this or try that, or "This makes your hair fall out". It's extremely hard to figure out what

actually works and is good for your hair and what is just a scam. I know, I've been there too. But where do you even start to get a good idea of what YOUR hair really needs? Let me just tell you that it's a journey and a process. But it's worth your time. Especially if you truly desire healthy hair that is strong and grows the way you want!
You have control, trust me. It may feel like all the advice you are seeing on tik tok, Instagram or even Google can get very loud in your head but let me tell you, shutting them out is the best thing you can possibly do for yourself and your hair! The thing is, we are all so different and unique. Some of us have oilier hair than others, some of us have dryer hair, curly hair, thin hair, thick hair, etc.. There's no "one size fits all" shampoo set. And if there was we wouldn't be here.
I'll give you a little guide to go by when your searching for a good cleansing and conditioning routine! Here's some good questions that I ask myself when looking:
What does the ingredient list look like? (Is it full of things you can't pronounce?)
Look at where the scent comes from, is it called "fragrance" or "parfum"?
Does the bottle tell you the result you'll get from the shampoo/conditioner? (is that your desired result?)
Look at reviews of the product, are they mostly good or bad?
Do you like the smell?
Another great treatment to add into your washing routine is to do a conditioning mask or rosemary oil treatment! I've talked all about rosemary oil on a previous blog here too. Doing these things and being intentional about how you treat your hair will determine the health of your hair.

Lastly, I want to add that our hair is apart of our body, meaning in order to function properly and be healthy, we need to be feeding it the nutrients it needs to thrive! It's not JUST about products, in fact a lot of times, products are in the way of us having shiny thick and strong hair! Start paying attention to your hair, truly look for the changes your products say they will make and if they aren't making it, it's time to toss them!
